Xcelerate Employment Solutions is an accredited Rehabilitation Provider under the NSW Worker's Compensation scheme. We are based at Bondi Junction and Rockdale although offer a service along the East Coast of NSW from Wollongong to the Hunter where we have a number of outreach offices where we can see clients.
Our WorkCover program is a Specialised Service for Long-tail claimants and claimants with ABI based on our proven expertise of placing long-term unemployed job seekers.
We have staff with specialist training and experience in psychology and neuropsychology, rehabilitation counselling, social work, employment consultancy, marketing, clinical nursing and we are able to provide a professional service that is outcome focused. Testimony to our success is the fact that we have continued to maintain government contracts based on our proven track record of job placement.

Our Model
Our model is based on a 4-phase approach:
Assessment-Workshops-Case Management-Post-Placement Support
1. The Assessment:
Each client is assessed and their background/specific needs and goals are determined. Included in the assessment phase is a comprehensive intervention plan outlining the specific needs and requirements of the client, employability skills as well as recommended interventions that are necessary for the client to return to work. The assessment identifies current barriers affecting return to work, transferable skills and suitable vocational goals. The assessment involves a detailed interview and the administration of a suite of assessment tools and psychometric tests. If following Initial assessment the worker is suitable to commence the job placement program, the worker will be transferred to our team of employment consultants and reverse marketers. If following Initial assessment the worker needs further assistance to become job ready, the worker will commence a 3 month case management phase, to ensure the worker is job ready.
The Return to Work Plan will identify vocational goals, transferable skills, aptitude and interests, literacy skills, medical recommendations, labor market analysis, job seeking skills assessment, worker’s strengths and barriers to the return to work.
2. The Workshops:
After the assessment, the client is placed in an intensive week long Work Preparation workshop that will implement strategies to address the identified issues and barriers affecting the claimant’s return to work. The workshops will focus on building and identifying strengths and transferable competencies that underpin employment. A transdisciplinary approach will be implemented with the aim of increasing the capacity to adapt to different work roles.
The Work Preparation workshop conducted by Xcelerate Employment Solutions, which is an Australian first, prepares clients for work. The workshops are informed by multifaceted methodologies; specifically motivational enhancement therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and strengths perspective. Emphasis is also placed on job expectations, working with co-workers and listening/organising/checking on the job.
• Day 1: Why am I unemployed: - An educational journey through the deficits and barriers associated with life away from employment.
• Day 2: Negative Thinking, Social Psychology and improving well being.
• Day 3: Strengths: Working with what we have! Utilizing vocational, transferable and employability skills to achieve goals and remain task orientated.
• Day 4: Mayer Key Competencies: Exercises to prove your competency for work, vocational skill requirements necessary for the job – Link this back to NTIS and UOC’s of common jobs in the local labor market
• Day 5: Behavioral strategies to address deficits, practical strategies for addressing barriers.
We also offer a range of other pre-employment programs that can be tailored to the individual needs of the client. The pre-employment programs are intensive, structured, outcomes focused and have been evaluated from testing in the field. Our Programs address the barriers that stop individuals from participating in the economic life of the community. They are specifically designed to target the maladaptive thoughts, emotions and behaviors that hold these barriers in place. Most barriers to employment are determined by person’s unhelpful ways of thinking. By helping jobseekers to understand the presenting problem, its causes and effects and by teaching skills and strategies to overcome unhelpful thoughts, emotions and behaviors.
3.The Case Work/Job Placement Program
We will work with the client on an individual basis for a period of up to 12 months. During this period we will provide extensive vocational assistance. This includes:
Focus on any compensatory strategies to overcome deficits
An exploration of realistic job options
A development strategy covering resumes, interviews and job search techniques, including the job seekers role and your role in these activities
Consideration of disability disclosure
Requirements for workplace adjustments or modifications
Cold canvassing of employers
Pre vocational training
Identifying appropriate jobs
Resume and Cover letter development
Interview skills
Prepare and send out individual marketing flyers promoting a specific client to a specific industry
Involve the client in job marketing from our specialist Reverse Marketers whose specific role is to cold canvass to employers, take our clients out to employers on our data base and to work with the employer in modifying and adjusting the workplace to the needs of our clients.
Flyers
We will promote our job seekers using tailored and innovative marketing strategies. One of the most effective methods we have found is the use of the individual promotional flyers. We design a flyer promoting the individual promotional flyers. We design a flyer promoting the individual qualities of a particular client, their abilities, interests and area in which they have had experience and post these to specific employer groups. we have found this unconventional method highly effective in terms of obtaining employment for our clients. guerrilla marketing techniques have been employed to create a'buzz' and harness demand for the skills of our clients.
Point Personnel
Xcelerate employment utilises it's recruitment arm of the Bogan group of companies, Point Personnel and has engaged it's recruiters to assist in the marketing and promotion of clients into stable employment opportunities.
Point Personnel recruiters have extensive business development, marketing and sales experience and have connections with a wide variety of growth industries accross sydney, particularly in the areas of construction, cleaning, warehouse, logistics, hospitality and retail.
Point Personnel is focused on engaging and working with employers in these several areas of demand. point personnel marketing consultants have lent their considerable expertise in the development of individualised, imaginative and sometimes unconventional promotional strategies to promote the abilities of individual job seekers.
Post Placement Strategies and Ongoing Support
Once the client is in employment, xcelerate Employment solutions understands the necessity of keeping the client in work. To this end, xcelerate utilizes it's unique Jobline support strategy. clients or employers in need of assistance can ring our 1300 phone line at any time during office hours for confidential counselling and support designed to keep the jobseeker happy, motivated and in work. Ongoing post placement support will be provided to the claimant.

Proactive education of the employer and co-workers on the impact of certain injuries with the aim of avoiding misunderstandings on the job-this may involve full or partial disclosure.
Implementation or introduction of any necessary modifications or equipment into the workplace to reduce the impact of any physical or sensory disability.
Job analysis and systematic practical instruction to achieve task competence
Assistance with resolutions of work related problems including conflict resolution
Ongoing coaching of employers and co-workers on relevant disability issues
Advice on job-redesign (tasks, processes, hours) or workplace adjustments
Provision or arrange,arrangement of ergonomic or workplace assessments
Post placement programs
These programs are specifically designed to keep claimants in work by educating and addressing problems before they arise. These programs are delivered after hours at Xcelerate offices which are all centrally located near public transport. clients will undergo an OHS training workshop to avoid re injury in the workplace.
