who we are Xcelerate is part of a group of companies that began with Sydney Rehabilitation Services (SRS), a specialist service for young people with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) that was established in 1996. SRS provides CTP rehabilitation and medico-legal assessments for young people involved in motor vehicle accidents. Xcelerate Employment Services has provided a Disability Employment Services (DES) program for jobseekers with disabilities and high support needs on behalf of the Australian Government since 2003 and operates out of 7 offices in Sydney. Xcelerate Employment Solutions provides CTP and WorkCover Vocational Rehabilitation to insurance companies. It is an accredited Rehabilitation Provider (Provider Number 488) under the NSW Workers Compensation Scheme. In addition to its 7 offices, Xcelerate Employment Solutions has outreach offices in Liverpool, Blacktown, Gosford, Newcastle and Wollongong. The Directors of the Xcelerate group of companies are: Dr Jeffrey Bogan is a psychologist who completed his PhD in Neuropsychology in 1994 on the assessment of executive functions of young people with an acquired brain injury. Dr Bogan developed The Seals Test, a developmental measure of executive function, and has presented his findings at National and International Conferences for Neuropsychologists. His career began in teaching, counselling and special education administration and he has been in private practice since 1994 providing rehabilitation and assessment of young people with ABI. Dr Bogan has published several papers in the area of brain injury and provides consultancy support to the Xcelerate group of companies. Dr Bogan is a registered psychologist in NSW and Member of the Australian Psychological Society. Cheryl Bogan Prior to joining Xcelerate as an Employment Consultant for clients with disabilities and special needs Mrs Bogan was a Consultant in Special Education / Early Intervention with DTEC and KU Children's Services. She has had extensive experience in Special Education with the NSW Dept of Education and the ACT Schools Authority and was Principal of a Special School. She has graduate qualifications in Special Education from Macquarie University. |
