iJOBS

An exciting and innovative employment program for school leavers with disabilities developed by Xcelerate Employment in partnerships with Group Training Organisations, the Sydney Business Education Partnership Group and Sailors with Disabilities. Ijobs is a free school-to-work transition program specifically tailored for students with special needs who may have difficulty finding the right career direction. School leavers are drawn from across the Sydney region. You will need to check that you are in our drawing area. ijobs is an initiative of Xcelerate Employment and is part of the Disability Employment Service (DES) program funded by the Department of Education Employment and WorkPlace Relations (DEEWR).

Students need to have an identified disability such as a learning difficulty, acquired brain injury, intellectual disability, mental illness, challenging behaviour, physical or sensory impairment.

Eligible students will be enrolled in Year 10-12 and looking to transition to employment or further post-school study.
